New Jersey-based LEGO artist Mike Doyle (previously featured here) created this spectacularly awesome masterpiece entitled Contact 1, “the first in a series of grand scale LEGO works ‘celebrating extra terrestrial contact events, spiritual beings and unique worlds.’”

Mike created Contact 1 over the course of 600 hours using 200,000 individual LEGO bricks. The structure measures 5 ft tall and 6 ft wide. Yep, that’s pretty awesome.

If you head over to Kickstarter you’ll learn about Mike Doyle’s plans for the Contact series. Limited edition prints, downloadable model-building instructions, and model kits are available for those interested in funding future Contact works.
